December as always, but…

After contributions in 2021, 2022 and 2023 about the busy month of December, full of activities within the various programs of Bread of Life we run, it is obvious to repeat myself…

I like to write about new things, surprising developments, but sometimes it is just the repetition that makes the difference. Just like breakfast every morning does not get boring, and a sufficient portion of sleep every day makes the difference between functioning or not.

And so Bread of Life runs its events every December at the Christmas markets in the city centers of Poznań and Kalisz, we have special events for our protégées and their families, and we also had, now for the second time, our charity concert for the “Under Wings” project.

So, was everything more or less the same, like a lunch with sandwiches every day? No! Because while Christmas (and of course all the activities before) are meant to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ together with people you love, this year it had a new, very beautiful dimension for me! Because in the run-up to beautiful Christmas days at home, also Tatiana had the opportunity to be there at the Christmas market in Poznan, at the concert with Krzysztof Antkowiak and during the annual event with more than 40 Danes.

And with that it was a December month like never before, and my thankfulness grows by the day!
