Opening a treasure chest – ELF 2024

Registrations had been running already since the fall of last year – this time with an additional action on behalf of Evangelical Poland to recruit as many participants as possible from our own country for the annual European Leadership Forum in Wisła, in the south of Poland.

Indeed, I also wrote about it in 2022 and 2023, but this year again the last week of May was another rich experience. In addition to an own network with targeted, thematic workshops, there were all kinds of individual lectures by specialists who wanted to share many, many years of research or practical experience in just over an hour. And that on the most diverse topics – as if you could just dive into a treasure chest!

Also very special was the meeting during a lunch with Mila from Rome and Igor from Sofia – The parallels between what we see in Poland with reality in both Italy and Bulgaria, in a (post-)Catholic or Orthodox society are striking! How through effective cooperation the evangelical church becomes more visible and thus an increasingly relevant alternative! It was nice to be able to share various practical examples with each other.

Apart from the fact that again it was very difficult not to buy too many good books at ridiculously low prices, I returned home enriched!
