Rescue teams in the Van den Berg Family (De Poolse Bergen)

A very difficult time began with the earthquake in the “Poolse Bergen” at the end of September. But, it was also the time to experience that there are rescue teams!

Within a few months, independently of each other, my parents, my three brothers and recently also my sister came to visit me in Poland to encourage me. Everything we have discussed remains of course highly confidential, but it is wonderful to experience how family is involved, how you are not alone, and that there is hope. It did me so good! Mom and Dad, Nelis, Laurens, Sam and Thirsa, thank you! I love you!

I am not going to tell you that a prophecy was fulfilled, but the parallel with Job did come in… As Job 42:11 tells us: “All his brothers and sisters and everyone who had known him before came and ate with him in his house.” However, I’ll leave the context of the verses before and after for what it is… 🙂
